Dynax Systems Awarded IBM MidMarket Reseller of the Year.



Dynax Systems, a Basingstoke based IT Solutions Provider has been named as IBM Business partner of the Year for excellence in helping mid-market customers gain the most from their IT infrastructures utilising the latest virtualisation technology.

The IBM UK Midmarket Business Partner award is presented to IBM UK partners that have delivered innovative solutions, impressive revenue growth and effective teaming with IBM and other partners in the midmarket.  The UK midmarket is defined as companies with less than 1000 employees.  This award has been instigated by IBM as part of its focus on the midmarket to recognise Business Partners that are investing and succeeding in this crucial marketplace.

"Virtualisation is a key technology for midmarket clients as it enables greater flexibility in the use of IT server and storage resources", said Jacqueline Davey, Vice President, Business Partners, IBM UK and Ireland.  "Dynax have delivered many successful virtualisation solutions into the midmarket using IBM Blade, System x and Storage and have recently invested in an impressive demonstration centre to showcase these technologies.  Dynax are a new Business Partner to IBM and have achieved rapid revenue growth as a result of many years experience as an IT reseller in this market.  This award recognises Dynax's expertise and success in this critical area."

The award recognises work for clients, which include Scriptswitch, Kakira Sugar, IT Recruitment Solutions and many others throughout 2008 that have benefited from new technologies being deployed within their businesses.

Dynax were presented with the award at the IBM Mid Market  conference on the 10^th March in London.

The company is part of the Impera Group which has a turnover of £8m and employs 45 people with offices in Basingstoke and Crawley. Imperadata one of the group companies provide off site services for DR, email archiving and offsite backup. Secure Networks deliver IT security solutions and Dynax has expertise in Virtualisation, Convergence and Infrastructure solutions with a 24 x 7 comprehensive support operation.

The trophy was presented to Eddy Alejos MD of Dynax Systems.
